A research fellow post-graduate position is available at AIRT Lab.

The research project aims to develop a virtual simulation environment for an ambient assisted living case study, in order to test the interactions between the patient, his family, the physical environment and the healthcare facility. The simulation environment must be able to test the validity of interaction protocols and validate the capabilities of the "Virtual Carer" to reason and interpret information from the sensors (environmental and wearable), and to make choose proper plans to be implemented in the simulated physical world.

CampusWorld: placements for master degree students

AIRT Lab is participating in the CampusWorld project as a point of contact with two research centers, the University of Toronto, Canada, and the NCSR Demokritos in Athens, Greece. AIRT Lab is in contact with Prof. Eric Yu for the University of Toronto, while the contact for NCSR Demokritos is Prof. Constantine Spyropoulos.

Preface to NetMed'13 proceedings book

This volume collects the proceedings of the second "International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in NetMedicine" (NetMed'13), organized this year as satellite workshop of the "International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence" (IJCAI'13).

The aim of the workshop is that of bringing together scholars from AI-driven Health Informatics to address some new topics that are emerging in what we call "NetMedicine", i.e. "every Health-related activity which is carried on through the Internet".
