The Artificial Intelligence and Real-Time Systems group organizes a seminar on "OSEK/VDX Operating Systems for minimal embedded applications"
The seminar will be held in two lectures on April 16 and 17, from 14:30 to 17:30. It will introduce minimal real-time operating systems for microcontrollers, and the Operating System Standard OSEK/VDX, with regard to OSEK OS, OIL, ORTI. Didactic examples on how to use the standard primitives will be shown, using the ERIKA Enterprise open source real-time system. Information on ERIKA OS are available at this page.
Lectures will be held by Dr. Paolo Gai, founder and CEO of companies developing real-time solutions for industrial applications.
Paolo Gai received his Master degree in Computer Science at Pisa University in 2000, and the PhD at Scuola Superiore S. Anna in 2004. From 2002 he is CEO of Evidence Srl, a spin-off company developing software for embedded systems. In 2011 he founded SSG Srl in Fabriano. SSG developes HW/SW solutions for industrial applications.
