Preface to NetMed'13 proceedings book

This volume collects the proceedings of the second "International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in NetMedicine" (NetMed'13), organized this year as satellite workshop of the "International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence" (IJCAI'13).

The aim of the workshop is that of bringing together scholars from AI-driven Health Informatics to address some new topics that are emerging in what we call "NetMedicine", i.e. "every Health-related activity which is carried on through the Internet".

Workshop on "Technology and Innovation Management in Healthcare"

Tuesday, June 3, 2013, at 15:00, in the room G2 of the Engineering Faculty, Dr.. Paolo Galassi will give a talk on the management of technology and innovation in healthcare.

The workshop is organized by Prof. Enrico Primo Tommasini, full professor and lecturer of "Mechanical Measures and Biomedical Instrumentation".

2nd International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and NetMedicine

On August, 3rd AIRT Lab organizes, in conjunction with IJCAI 2013, the 2nd International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and NetMedicine (NetMed 2013) in Beijing, China.

The workshop aims to bring together scholars and practitioners active in Artificial Intelligence driven Health Informatics, to present and discuss their research, share their knowledge and experiences, define key research challenges and explore possible international collaborations to advance the intelligent practice of Medicine over the Internet.

1st International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and NetMedicine

On 27th August AIRT Lab organizes, in conjunction with ECAI 2012, the 1st International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and NetMedicine (NetMed 2012) in Montpellier, France.

The workshop aims to bring together scholars and practitioners active in Artificial Intelligence driven Health Informatics, to present and discuss their research, share their knowledge and experiences, define key research challenges and explore possible international collaborations to advance the intelligent practice of Medicine over the Internet.

Time management in the Linux kernel and low-level programming techniques for microcontrollers

The Artificial Intelligence and Real-Time Systems group organizes a seminar on "Time management in the Linux kernel and low-level programming techniques for microcontrollers". The seminar will be held by Alessandro Rubini, adjunct professor at University of Pavia and co-author of the book "Linux Kernel Devices".
