The Artificial Intelligence and Real-Time Systems group organizes a seminar on "OSEK/VDX Operating Systems for minimal embedded applications"
The seminar will be held in two lectures on April 16 and 17, from 14:30 to 17:30. It will introduce minimal real-time operating systems for microcontrollers, and the Operating System Standard OSEK/VDX, with regard to OSEK OS, OIL, ORTI. Didactic examples on how to use the standard primitives will be shown, using the ERIKA Enterprise open source real-time system. Information on ERIKA OS are available at this page.

The "Artificial Intelligence & Real-Time Systems Group" will attend the 4th IEEE International Workshop on Real-Time Service-Oriented Architecture and Applications, on December 12th 2011, in Irvine, CA, USA.
The group will give a talk about "Testing Linux-based real-time systems: Lachesis", in which we will describe ongoing work on Lachesis test suite. Lachesis is a test suite for Linux-based real-time systems. Trough a standard API Lachesis greatly simplifies developing and testing real-time features of systems like Linux, PREEMPT_RT, Xenomai and RTAI.
